Basketmaker style flint blade knife C1614
Basketmaker style knife C1614, with heated flint Silex blade, juniper handle, deer tendon ligatures and tanned deer hide case.
The blade of this knife is made of Touraine flint.
The handle is in Juniper. There is no patina for this piece, the shape and lustre of the blade repeats itself in the handle.
The set is held by prehistoric glue and a deer tendon ligature coated with tendon glue.
Anita made the case in tanned deer hide with a large engraved bone bead.
At the back a link allows to hang it on the belt. A derr hide strap can be added as an option on request to wear it around the neck or as a shoulder strap.
